New York Aster

Symphyotrichum novi-belgii (New York Aster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, The Contiguous United States, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Common Eastern Bumblebee, brimstone, Monarch, and Argyreus hyperbius. Individuals can grow to 1.8 m.
