Acinonyx jubatus (Cheetah) is a species of mammals in the family cats. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to the Palearctic, Ethiopia, and Asia. They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. Individuals are known to live for 228 months and can grow to 1480.43 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running and arboreal (locomotion) to move around.
