Dipodomys ordii (Ord's Kangaroo Rat) is a species of rodents in the family Heteromyidae. It is listed as endangered by COSEWIC. It is native to United States. Ord's Kangaroo Rat is a solitary, nocturnal granivore. Individuals are known to live for 117.6 months and can grow to 60.4 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Ord's Kangaroo Rat relies on saltation to move around.
