Arctictis binturong (Binturong) is a species of mammals in the family Viverridae. It is listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in CITES Appendix III. It is found in the Indo-Malayan Realm and the Palearctic. Binturong is a nocturnal omnivore. Individuals are known to live for 272.4 months and can grow to 13000 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Binturong relies on running to move around.
