Rousettus amplexicaudatus (Common Rousette) is a species of bats in the family Old World fruit bats. It is found in Australasia and the Indo-Malayan Realm. It is a frugivore. Individuals can grow to 78.9 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Common Rousette relies on flight to move around.
