Chaetodipus hispidus (Hispid Pocket Mouse) is a species of rodents in the family Heteromyidae. It is found in the Nearctic and the Neotropics. It is a solitary browser. Individuals can grow to 37.24 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Chaetodipus hispidus relies on saltation to move around.
