Test unilocular, subglobular to ovate, circular in section; wall calcareous, translucent, surface covered by elevated ridges forming large polygonal reticulations; aperture rounded on a slightly produced neck that may have a thickened collarlike rim, provided internally with a short straight central entosolenian tube.
