Fragaria virginiana (Virginia Strawberry) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Individuals can grow to 29 cm.
