Reproduction

provided by EOL Interns LifeDesk

'It is predicted that they planktotrophic larvae although the oocyte diameter is much reduced at greater depths. This species reproduces continually. The pattern of growth is established for two of the commensal pairs, and this indicates that the partnerships are uninterrupted during growth.' (Muirhead, Tyler, Thurston 1986)
