Fragaria vesca (Woodland Strawberry) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and United States. They have compound, broad leaves and achene. Flowers are visited by Callophrys, duke of burgundy fritillary, Protosmia rubifloris, and Lasioglossum laevigatum. Individuals can grow to 0.14 m.
