Nastra neamathla is a year-round resident in Florida and along the Gulf Coast (Scott 1986). Habitats are southern grassy places, preferably open grassy pine forest in Florida. Host plants are grasses of species Eragrostis. There are multiple flights each year with the approximate flight time Feb.1-Oct. 31 in Florida, March1-Oct.31 in Texas (Scott 1986).
