Phyciodes tharos (Pearl Crescent) is a species of butterflies in the family brush-footed butterflies. They are native to The Nearctic. They visit flowers of Pacific aster, seaside buckwheat, bristly buttercup, and roughleaf coneflower. They are diurnal herbivores. Individuals can grow to 31.5 mm. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
