Aepyprymnus rufescens (Rufous Bettong) is a species of mammals in the family Potoroidae. It is found in Australasia. It is a nocturnal insectivore. Individuals are known to live for 96 months and can grow to 3250 g. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. Rufous Bettong relies on saltation to move around.
