Neomys anomalus (Mediterranean Water Shrew) is a species of mammals in the family shrews. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It is found in the Palearctic. Mediterranean Water Shrew is a solitary invertivore. Individuals are known to live for 24 months and can grow to 16 g. Reproduction is dioecious.
