Piranga olivacea (Scarlet Tanager) is a species of birds in the family cardinals. It is found in the Neotropics and the Nearctic. It is an insectivore. Individuals can grow to 38 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Scarlet Tanager relies on flight to move around.
