Betula alleghaniensis (Gray Birch) is a species of tree in the family Betulaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, Eastern North America, North America, United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 30 m.
