Socratea exorrhiza (Cashapona) is a species of tree in the family palms. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amazônia, Pará, Acre (Brazil), Roraima, Mato Grosso, RondôNia, Maranhao, Amapá, and Tocantins. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 23 m.
