Acorus calamus (Sweet Flag) is a species of perennial herb in the family Acoraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 5 feet.
