Fimbristylis ferruginea (West Indian Fimbry) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Bahia, Sergipe, U.S. Virgin Islands, Alagoas, Puerto Rico, Mata Atlântica, ParaíBa, Rio Grande Do Norte, and Pernambuco. They have simple, broad leaves.
