Zannichellia palustris is a species of perennial herb in the family Potamogetonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Mata Atlântica, Alaska, North America, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.38 m.
