Panicum virgatum (Switchgrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, North America, Eastern North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 184.6 cm.
