Egeria densa (Brazilian Waterweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Hydrocharitaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Minas Gerais, SãO Paulo, Argentina, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, Alagoas, Espirito Santo, Sergipe, Ceará, Pampa, Uruguay, Rio Grande Do Sul, North America, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, Caatinga, Bahia, ParaíBa, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, and Paraná. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.6 m.
