Camassia quamash (Camas) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asparagaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, The Contiguous United States, Canada, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves, blue flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by green blowfly, Aerial yellowjacket, Sericus incongruus, and Andrena perplexa. Individuals can grow to 2.3 feet.
