Scape to 10-20 cm. Bulb conical, covered by grey scales. Leaves two, 7-15 cm x 1 cm, grooved. Inflorescence a one-sided cyme with 10-20 white-azure flowers. Perianth shallowly campanulate, with blue stripes on lobes. V - early spring to mid-summer, in St. Petersburg April-July. Fl - April. Fr - June. P - by seed and division. Demands a fertile, well-drained soil. Excellent for group planting and rock gardens. Z 4.
