Nausinoe pueritia is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Pieter Cramer in 1780.[1] It is found in India, Sri Lanka, Burma, Malaysia,[2] Thailand and Australia, where it has been recorded from the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales.

Nausinoe pueritia is een vlinder uit de familie van de grasmotten (Crambidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1780 door Pieter Cramer in zijn werk Uitlandsche Kapellen.[2] Cramer noemde de soort, die men kon vinden aan de kust van Coromandel, Phalaena pueritia. Frederic Moore duidde deze soort later aan als de typesoort van het geslacht Nausinoe Hübner.
