Fragaria virginiana Duchesne

Fragaria virginiana (nomen a Philippo Miller post Antonium Duchesne anno 1768 statutum) est species plantarum florentium generis Fragariae et familiae rosacearum in occidentalibus Americae septentrionalis partibus sponte virens, cuius fructus ibi diu ab indigenis collecti sunt. Nothospecies Fragaria x ananassa, quae temporibus nostris fragum hortense producit, hybrida est specierum F. chiloensis et F. virginiana.
