Description: March 1st, 2020 High of 61 degrees Fahrenheit 51 degrees Fahrenheit at capture One amongst many ambystomatids observed in a partially flooded forest early in the morning. Three other species and several representations of all of them were also found under cover. At this point in the day the sun was shining down and there was no wind. Most salamanders found were directly adjacent to small vernal pools, and under larger logs. The latter point is likely important to note because of extensive feral hog activity in the area.
