On hwy. 3 miles NW of Hamburg on Klamath River. Non-commercial area with chaparral and some (under 5% density ) commercial conifers. Under site I. Area is a steep, southerly slope of red soil and many rocks. Chaparral species: Ceanothus cuneatus. Commercial conifers: Incense cedars and ponderosa pine. Assoc. species: Douglas fir and canyon oak, foreground along Klamath River., T 46 N R 11 W Sec 26 Quad name: Seiad Valley. Quad number: 7.
