Gruberia (grew-beer-ee-a) an elongate spirotrich ciliate. one of the heterotrichs, with cilia in kineties over the body. The mouth ciliature formed from a long adoral zone of membranelles extending from the front of the cell to near the middle. T With variously coloured inclusions that indicate that this organism eats algae. Differential interference contrast.
