Description:
Description: Tilia Americana, called Basswood or Lime, on Nicola east side south of Burnaby St. You can tell it's Tilia by the Lime Gall Mites (Eriophyid mite Eriophyes tiliae, those red things sticking up on the leaves, or actually, I think the red things are galls caused by the mites), which are associated with this one type of tree. Date: 12 June 2008, 14:52. Source: 20080612_NicolaBurnaby_TiliaAmericana_Cutler_7479 Uploaded by JoJan. Author: Wendy Cutler from Vancouver, Canada.
