Description: trumpet, shell. puutaatara. Charonia lampas capax. Shell smooth over all surfaces. Ribs on varix ground to form a flat, sharp edged ridge. A notch, 11x6 mm, has been cut on 1 side of the anterior canal (same side as inner apertural lip) and a perforation made within the notch and through the shell wall. Mislabelled 21855.4. Apertural lip only, dorsal surface of body whorl broken. Date: 42913.
