Description: Fungus found growing in my cat's water dish. According to the same expert that kindly identified my sample of Harposporium anguillulae, “this is definitely a nematophagous fungus of the genus Arthrobotrys, probably Arthrobotrys oligospora or Arthrobotrys candida. The structures shown on your image are threedimensional adhesive nets.” See . 10× objective, 15× eyepiece; numbered ticks are 122 µM apart.
