2009.08.30: Austria, Vienna XXII. district, 156 m AMSL, fresh meadow on Hubertus embankment: on Asparagus officinalis, with Crioceris quinquepunctata.Very rare in Austria, only living in the warmest regions but recently expanding, due to climate change. (Beetle: quite rare, specialised on Asparagus and only living where it is cultivated, or growing wild as in this case.)German name: Gottesanbeterin (plant: Spargel, beetle: Fnfpunkt-Spargel-Zirpkfer).
