Queen of Misiones

The only Miltonia species native to Argentina. It's restricted in the wild to the province of Misiones, hence the title.The flowers have an exquisite banana-like scent. Not like actual bananas, but rather like... um, what would result if we asked a very expert perfumist to prepare a fine perfume with a touch of ripe bananas.(I suspect few would dare. :P ) La nica especie de Miltonia nativa de Argentina. En estado silvestre est restringida a la provincia de Misiones, de ah el ttulo de la foto.Las flores tienen un exquisito perfume a banana.
