Description:
2011-06-23 Vienna XXII. district, Lobau wet meadow (National Park, 155 msm Quadrant 7864/2).German name: Sumpf-Siegwurz, (Sumpf-Gladiole)Very rare, and possibly the one and only place where it grows in Vienna: according to Fischer, Exkursionsflora it is not native here in Vienna. (where no occurrence in Vienna is mentioned yet). However, with 'nice flowers' like this one there's always a chance that it is an escapee from culture, or has been planted/ seeded on purpose by somebody.
