Bukit Tagar, Selangor, Malaysia.Rubus moluccanus L. Rosaceae. CN: [Malay - Tampu rengat, Murbel telor ulat, Akar kupor], Malayan bramble, Molucca bramble, Broad-leaf bramble, Wild raspberry. Native of Sri Lanka, India (Andaman and Nicobar), Indo-China, Malesia ecozone [Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Australia (Queensland)], Australia (New South Wales, Victoria), New Caledonia, Solomon Islands. Weed; Fruits edible. Prickly scrambler with buff-colored stem about 1 m high; leaves broad 7-20 cm long, 7-8 cm broad, simple, alternate, base deeply heart-shaped, margin broadly lobed (3-8), finely toothed, hairy, under covered with a buff-colored felt of hairs. Flowers crowded at end of shoots and axils of leaves. Calyx broadly cup-shaped with persistent sepals; petal 5, stamens numerous.
