Argophyllum is a genus in the Argophyllaceae family comprising eighteen species of shrubs and small trees. They feature alternate, simple leaves, often silvery white underneath. They appear in Australia and New Caledonia,[1] where several species are nickel hyperaccumulators.

Argophyllum es un género perteneciente a la familia Argophyllaceae que comprende unas once especies de arbustos y pequeños árboles. Tiene hojas simples, alternas, a menudo plateadas. Se eencuentran en Australia y Nueva Caledonia.[1]
El género fue descrito por J.R.Forst. & G.Forst. y publicado en Charact. Gen. 15. 1775.[2] La especie tipo es: Argophyllum nitidum.
