Since my childhood I've identified tentatively this mayfly, extremely common in my city, as Choroterpes picteti. I still would like a confirmation from a mayfly expert. In certain forums they asked more detailed photos. However when I provided these, no further replies followed. I hope that the head and the wing venation are enough visible here for help. The mayfles are in Saragossa, NE Spain, 200 meters over sea. The river here is very big, not deep, slow flowing, and with muddy bottom and brown-stained water.
