Garra gotyla gotyla (Gray, 1830) – sucker head. Relatively widespread in South Asia, and reaches a length of 14.5 cm (5.7 in). Garra gotyla stenorhynchus Jerdon, 1849 – Nilgiris garra. Found in the Western Ghats in India, and reaches a length of 15.5 cm (6.1 in).
