Description: Triplofusus giganteus (Kiener, 1840) - living Florida horse conch (public signage, Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum, Sanibel Island, Florida, USA) The gastropods (snails & slugs) are a group of molluscs that occupy marine, freshwater, and terrestrial environments.
