When taking the iguana-sign picture I did not notice the anoles. I now see there are at least three, demonstrating the sheer abundance of this species.
Anoles are abundant about the hotel. This wild, female anole was discovered on hotel patio consuming an introduced Tropical House Gecko (Hemidactylus mabouia). House Geckos are also abundant about the hotel. Introduced colony at Grace Bay, TC.
This locality represents an extended Florida distribution range for this species. Previously unrecorded from Key West. Yellow throatfan; body structure and behavior differs from the abundant Brown Anole (Anolis sageri).
