Description: English: A fiery-throated hummingbird sits on a branch in the rain. Drawn using a variety of pencils, and a fine liner pen. The fiery-throated hummingbird is a brilliantly colourful, medium-sized bird. When the sunlight hits the feathers at the right angle, you'll see a bright orange-red throat, surrounded with magnificent blues, yellows and greens. They live in the canopies of Costa Rica and Panama. They feed on the nectar of long-tubed flowers, and also eat insects. Like all hummingbirds, they have a very high metabolism. Date: 30 April 2015.
