Staurois natator (Günther 1858)

This species is found throughout much of the Mindanao Faunal Region in southeastern Philippines.

Mindanao Pleistocene Aggregate Island Complex (PAIC; Brown and Diesmos, 2002).

Although the type locality was originally recorded only as the "Philippinen" (Günther, 1858), Inger (1954) restricted the range of this species to the Mindanao Faunal Region. To date, this is the only region in the Philippines that this species has been observed.
