Lugol preservation
Kuvaus:
This is large Akashiwo species with a pentagonal cell. The apex is rounded. The sulcus deeply excavates the hypotheca. A. sanguinea contains chloroplasts which radiate from the centre of the cells. A. sanguinea has been associated with fish kills and might be toxic.
