Description; Erect annual herbs,25-40cm tall. leaves 1-4x 1-2.5 cm elliptic ovate, undulate, acute, base rounded, chartaceous, glaucous beneath, Flowers 2-4mm, white in long axilary or terminal panicles. Peduncles thin and much branched. Friuts 2-3mm obconic with truncate apex, grooved.This is the White Punarnava, having high reputation as Ayurvedic medicine.
