Description: English: This is a close crop of an inflorescence from the adjacently imaged specimen of Pittosporum erioloma (Pittosporaceae), a forest tree from the moist upper slopes of Lord Howe Island's southern mountains that is endemic to the island. This specimen was collected in 1969 and scanned in 2014. Collection details are: "Game 69/340. Tree about 8 metres high, much branched. Bark rather rough. Petals pinkish at base, white in reflexed regions, flrs. falling. Mount Gower, probably near the main ascent ridge at about 1,600 feet". Lord Howe Island is in the Tasman Sea east of Australia.
