Stems have sparse hairs. Leaves are linear to ovate, 1–8 cm long, with entire or toothed margins. Flowers are solitary. Sepals are 2.5–4.5 mm long. Petals are orange or yellow; the lower petal is spade-shaped and 8-15 mm long. Upper petals are 3–4.2 mm long and lateral petals are 4–5 mm long.
